Disability assistance, education, the environment, community awareness, and business connections are just a few. Along the way, you may discover that the person you are helping isn’t the only one experiencing growth.

Kaleidoscope is a weekday program for younger adults with disabilities who have transitioned out of high school and other adults who desire to remain active and engaged in structured daytime activities including arts and crafts, music therapy, recreational games, exercise classes, and life skills training.

Our Work Training Center provide hands-on experience and classroom instruction to assess suitability for employment and establish appropriate work behaviors for individuals with disabilities referred by the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services. Through AbilityOne, Goodwill Gulf Coast provides janitorial services under two contracts in Mobile County. These programs are only available through a referral.

Goodwill offers training focused on developing interpersonal skills and personal attributes that enable individuals to interact effectively with others. Training sessions can include a combination of topics based on the group’s needs and tailored for elementary, middle school, or high school students.

Goodwill Gulf Coast's "We Share Project" provides adaptive medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and personal care items, available at no cost, with partial funding from the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation’s STAR Program. Medical equipment is available in our retail stores.

Children’s books for all ages are distributed free-of-charge to families visiting Goodwill Gulf Coast stores as well as to schools, daycares, and other organizations serving children in an effort to encourage and support literacy. We distribute over 100,000 books each year to local children.
