Kaleidoscope is a weekday program for young adults with disabilities, 19 years old and up, who have transitioned out of high school and other adults who desire to remain active and engaged in structured daytime activities including arts and crafts, music therapy, recreational games, exercise classes, and life skills training. Group activities, field trips, and social events are organized to encourage friendship, camaraderie, and emotional support among participants. There is also a Summer Camp for adults ages 17 and up during June and July to meet the needs of school aged participants.
Our goal is to help adults with disabilities to enhance skills and characteristics important to personal growth, happiness and self-sufficiency through meaningful and challenging experiences. By promoting independence, social inclusion, and well-being, Kaleidoscope enhances the quality of life for participants and their families.
Kaleidoscope operates on our Gordon Smith campus in Mobile, Monday – Friday (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.).
