File your federal and state tax returns for free with help from a volunteer
Through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, low to moderate income families are able to file their federal and state returns for free with assistance from a volunteer, IRS-certified, and trained tax preparer. This program also provides financial education by explaining the complexities of tax laws and ways that taxpayers can maximize refunds and avoid paying a balance due.
Employees and those enrolled in Goodwill programs can also access other financial education workshops and services in order to learn how to manage their finances and avoid money traps like predatory lending and credit problems.
