Job support services for high school students with special needs

Through a contract with the Escambia County (FL) School System, high school students with special needs receive hands-on work experience and classroom training at Goodwill retail stores. Program managers provide instruction on basic job readiness, soft skills instruction, and hands-on work experience. This program is only available through a referral.

High School High Tech

Funded by the Able Trust and the Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, this program targets youth with disabilities (ages 14-22) in the juvenile justice system. The goal is to motivate these young students to graduate from high school and pursue careers in high-demand industry jobs. Goodwill Gulf Coast conducts the program at Department of Juvenile Justice facilities in Escambia and Okaloosa counties.
